Every Friday, the Hallsville Junior High Library transforms into a place of creativity, connection, and fun!
Teachers can sign up to bring their classes for screen-free social time. Students have the chance to play games, build with Legos, explore STEM activities, create crafts, and enjoy a variety of rotating hands-on experiences.
Although students were hesitant at first to put away their devices, it didn’t take long for the excitement to take over. Now, Fridays are filled with laughter, energy, and anticipation.
Fun Friday has become more than just an activity—it’s an opportunity for students to strengthen friendships, build relationships with their teachers, and discover just how much fun unplugged time can be.
Another great resource for research, plus includes games on a variety of topics for extra practice, a citation builder, and a timeline creator. Also includes resources in Spanish.
