Welcome to the HISD DAEP webpage! It is my distinct pleasure to serve the students and families of Hallsville ISD. When students are placed in our program, our goals are to:

• Ensure students feel safe and supported throughout the duration of their placement.
• Encourage and support students in their academic pursuits and outcomes.
• Empower students to leave the program better than when they arrived and inspire them to make better decisions.

As DAEP administrator, it is important to me for the students placed in our program to be supported in their academics as well as be provided with opportunities and support to grow socially and emotionally.

As the district truancy officer, it is my goal to support the district in promoting and sustaining regular attendance for all students. I offer my support to parents in understanding the importance of school attendance and the effects non-attendance can have on their child's education.

I am looking forward to a positive and productive school year! Please know that I am available and welcome any questions, concerns, suggestions, or celebrations that you may have or would like to share.
